The METE MC9 L is part of Canik’s METE series of handguns.
It’s chambered in 9×19 mm (9mm Parabellum).
“L” denotes a slightly longer slide and barrel compared to the base MC9, but still more compact than full‑size duty pistols.
High capacity for its size: 17 rounds in a relatively compact frame.
Modular ergonomic features, like interchangeable backstraps, ambi controls, etc., make it more adaptable to different hand sizes.
Optics ready: slide is cut for micro optics / popular mini‑red dots.
Reasonable balance between concealability and handling (longer slide helps recoil management a bit).
